Welshpool Town Council looks after a memorial garden located in Howell Drive off Severn Road Welshpool.
The garden is there for quiet contemplation and as a lasting memory of those who lost their lives in the two world wars and other wars since.
There is a memorial stone located in the gardens in memory of Cpl Paul Thomas who lost his life in conflict.
Remembrance Events are held here in November each year.
The Town Council also has a War Memorial located at St Mary’s Church in the town centre.
