Welshpool Town Council

The Town Council has the ability to appoint 2 Youth epresentatives.  They can attend Council Meetings, take part but not vote.

There were Youth Representatives until May 2015 when the Youth Council decided that they should be the appointed body for the youth with the opportunity to attend Council Meetings when there was something of importance to them.

However, if any young person aged 16 to 18 wishes to be considered as a Youth Representative it is open for them to apply to the Town Clerk who will then seek advice from the Council.
