Dear Resident,
This is a letter ofnotification that on Sunday 26th March 2023 Welshpool will be hosting a 10k Run.
This event is a closed road event and all road closures have been signed off by Powys Council.
Please can I ask that the below roads at the listed times are avoided and not used —
High Street / Broad St— Closed 5am — lpm (please don’t leave cars overnight on the 25th March
Berriew Road — Closed 850am — 925am
Red Lane — Closed 8am — 1030am
Please plan ahead — if you need to leave your property at these times then leave your car off the course and make sensible plans to route your journey. Please Support the event — if you have a few moments please support the runners — this is a big day for Welshpool and everyone’s support is welcome. We have runners from all over the UK attending. Charity Partner — The events charity partner is Hope House.
We are expecting 800 runners and many spectators.
