Welshpool Town Council is working with the NHS Future Fit to get the best for Welshpool from the formal consultation.
The consultation on future hospital care in Shrewsbury and Telford is now taking place. The preferred option is to retain Critical Care at Shrewsbury with all Planned Care at Telford. There is a walk in A&E on both sites.
The Town council is urging all residents to support the preferred option as supported by the Town Council referendum held in October 2017.
We not only want people to complete the voting paper for the options but also to give us case studies to support the consultation via our open days noted below.
You need to take part in this consultation and cast your vote - you can do this in the following ways:
Vist out Tourist Information Centre (9.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm Sundays).
Visit the Future Fit Web Site at www.nhsfuturefit.org.uk
Attend one of the Future Fit consultation days in other towns.
Vist one of the open days at the Town Hall Welshpool as follows:
Monday 25th June 2018 from 9am to 5pm
Tuesday 10th July 2018 from 5pm to 8,30pm
Thursday 19th July 2018 all day

ALL PEOPLE ARE WELCOME TO COMPETE THE CONSULTION AS ABOVE - NOT JUST WELSHPOOL.
You will be asked to support one of two options as set out below:
OPTION 1 (preferred option & supported by Welshpool Town Council)
Critical care at Shrewsbury, Planned care at Telford. A walk in A&E on both sites.
